Then from 2000 Sedgefield have been one of the strongest clubs in the country, a marvellous achievement considering the competition from big clubs such as Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool and London.

Sedgefield is relatively small and has members from 6-17 years. It is led by

Just to let you know we finished 2nd in Northern League behind Sheff. Slightly disappointing but it was a bit of a transitional period. However we still haven't lost an away game for over 3 Years now. Team Durham's 5 games they played were expunged as they didn't pay the entry fee. Castleford are in the League for this Year in place of Durham. Our first game is the end of March and i will give you a list of dates for games soon. If you know of any decent players available get them signed on. Thanks for your support in 2009.
Thanks George

ps Scott has taken OZ by storm he has been playing in the State League for Richmond Tigers in Melbourne and his team hadn't won a game till he arrived and they ended up in the play off final which they lost 11-10. He has scored 60 goals in 8 games and the leading scorer in the League managed 65 in 17 games. The National League starts for him at the end of Jan.

29th November

Sedgefield men traveled to Durham City to play their away fixture in the Northern League on Sunday 29th November.

After losing Scott to the Australian Tigers last month, chances of winning games against larger clubs such as Sheffield and Leeds were questionable.

But as usual 100% effort was applied to this local derby leaving the game at 11 - 7 in Sedgefield's favour.

The Team;

Coach; Lee Cooke
